I started coding at twelve. That early interest in how a screen is put together grew into a professionalfocus on what makes a product feel right and what doesn’t — eighteen years of it, most spent at the border between design and engineering. A decade of that went into the design systems big product organisations run on — work I still take on today, because I know exactly what a foundation like that is worth. I’ve also come back to my roots in the AI era: product design and engineering, on real products — simple ones, a single part of a larger one, or genuinely complex products and interfaces, taken all the way through to deployment. I design directly in code through fast AI-assisted iterations, so you react to something interactive in week one. The AI removes the repetitive build work; the design eye and the technical judgment always stay mine. Deep foundations and a toolkit sharpened over those years let me deliver very high quality, fast. And I build my own products — the greatest way to stay sharp on the tools I sell and keep up with the technology. Automation is a growing part of that work: finding where business and product tasks can be made faster, then building the thing that does it — for clients, and inside my own products.
