The freelance make-up artist is a creative professional with a highly developed artistic awareness combined with technical skills and good management of ergonomic aesthetics. This ensures that he/she produces innovative, clear and visually attractive mock-ups.

He/she adapts easily to the graphics charter imposed and proposes creations consistent with your brand image. He/she is versatile, knows how to manage stress during emergencies and works methodically.

He/she is proficient in DTP software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quarkxpress, etc.) and the tenets of best layout. He/she must facilitate the work of the printer by creating a digital mock-up that meets printing standards (or mock-ups of websites that meet the standards for developers, etc.).

How to choose a Mock-Up Artist?

In small organizations, the freelance mock-up artist must be versatile, able to manage layout and aesthetics, and even create artwork. In larger organizations, he/she works with other communication professionals (Draftsperson, Computer Graphics specialist, Graphic Designer) and works under the management of an Artistic Director. Choose the profile that will best suit the size of your organization. Depending on the mock-up medium, you may need a profile specialising in a particular type of production.
