The freelance virtual reality consultant develops programs and tools for virtual reality and/or augmented reality for the benefit of companies.

Virtual reality consists of reproducing an interactive virtual world in 3 dimensions. To interact with it, the user has specific tools such as virtual reality headsets (Oculus Rift, Google cardboard), 3D screens, control levers, digital media.

The freelance virtual reality consultant reviews the customer’s request that may reflect an in-company need (serious game for training, 3D mock-up) or an external need (virtual reality tools to deploy a commercial offer, development of a video game, etc.)

He/she is in charge of design and leading the project. He/she defines the criteria in technical and conceptual specification. To create the virtual reality tool, he/she generally selects the professionals who will produce the illustrations, the special effects (graphic artists, motion designers, environment designer, etc.), the music, the interactions (developers), etc.
